PREPARATIONS

Less than a week to go until liftoff. Getting prepared to live mobilely again is harder than I thought it would be. What do we leave at home in the mobile and what do we take in the 5th wheel? It was much easier before...when we were just living in the 5th wheel.
We leave for Benson, AZ on Monday at about 6am. It's going to be a looong drive....about 10 hrs Ed says. Whew! Only 1 pee stop allowed! At least we'll be there a week. We'll have time to settle in and relax a bit. Hope the weather is good!

On The Road Again

Jan 13, 2010 - just created my first blog, pretty good for a computer illiterate 50-something yr old! Ed and I will begin our on-the-road adventures again on Feb 1. Heading out the I-10, our first stop will be Tucson, AZ. We'll be headed south to Florida from there; Orlando, Caribbean cruise from Miami on Mar 21, visit The Keys; then north to Tennesse to visit with family and home. We expect to be gone for 3 months and to see all that we can see.
I'll try to be as good as I can be in keeping a daily diary going on, including pictures. Until Feb 1 though, it will be spotty. Nothing interesting going on now, just getting ready and finishing up handling details here at home.
